Empowered for Change
Developing social awareness is the first step in creating meaningful change in our world.
Through the lens of three Black filmmakers, Strayer University and the Blackhouse Foundation invite Strayer students to explore new perspectives as they follow the unique stories of three nonprofit organizations that are advocating for racial justice across the country.
Throughout their academic journey, students will learn practical tips for advocacy in their personal lives, explore critical thinking strategies that will help them understand different perspectives and discover how they, too, are agents of change who can contribute meaningfully to a more united and equitable future.
Impact
United for Equality aims to empower students to be change agents in their communities through the power of education.
